- Manages a portfolio of major gift prospects.
- Develops and implements thoughtful, strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for prospective donors for gifts of $100K+.
- Ensures regular contact with donors through various activities and communications, especially face to face meetings.
- Identifies and develops joint major giving opportunities in collaboration with colleagues and team members.
- Develops and manages timelines for various fundraising activities to ensure plans and critical fundraising processes are carried out in a timely manner.
- Develops expertise in strategically aligned priorities of the healthcare system. Assists physicians, program directors and administration with capital and programmatic funding needs.
- Manages internal and external key stakeholder relationships.
- Meets annual activity and financial performance metrics.
- Ensures that all donor contact is reported in the CRM.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-4 years Related experience in philanthropy, ideally within a health system setting. required
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to be held accountable for results; demonstrated ability to be a positive, collaborative member of a philanthropy team; self-motivated, proactive, energetic and goal-oriented, with a sense of humor.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications.
- Knowledge of fundraising database software
