    We are thrilled to offer an exciting position for a skilled Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Alaska office. In this role, you will oversee and conduct structural inspections on bridges and related structures.


    As the Team Leader, you will be the driving force and Project Manager for a variety of projects primarily located in Alaska and the Western United States.


    This role is ideal for a Team Leader looking to elevate their career into Project Management.


    Responsibilities:
    • Manage above water and underwater bridge and ancillary design, inspection, and evaluations.
    • Review, analyze, and offer recommendations on field and/or design challenges or modifications.
    • Support in proposal development.
    • Develop and oversee project budgets.
    • Ensure project schedules are met and projects are completed on time.
    • Oversee moderately sized engineering projects both in the field and office, following plans and specifications.
    • Conduct engineering calculations and estimates for design projects.
    • Create comprehensive engineering plans and reports.
    • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and tools like AutoCad, Microstation, and Civil3D to produce engineering and design documents.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year university and at least 4 to 5 years of experience in bridge or ancillary structure inspections.
    • Successful completion of the NHI/FHWA Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course.
    • NHI Fracture Critical Course completion is a plus.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred, or the ability to obtain it within a year.
    • NICET certification is advantageous.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license.
