Description

The Department of Transfusion Medicine and Hemostaseology at the University Hospital Erlangen provides immunohematological and hemostaseological diagnostics to the hospital and also to clinics and practices in the surrounding area.

We also offer consultation services to these facilities.

Your responsibilities:

Assisting in the care of our patients and donors
Registering and coordinating donor appointments
Monitoring and supervising blood donors and patients during donations
Independently setting up and dismantling cell separators
Adjusting cell separators and electronically creating donations
Processing and creating various blood products according to the guidelines of the Medical Devices Act

Your profile:

Completed training as a nursing professional
Personal, social, and professional competence, as well as responsibility and cooperation with other professional groups
Flexibility, commitment, and interest in regular specialized training
Innovative thinking and acting
Technical understanding and manual dexterity
Additional qualifications: experience in the mentioned area of responsibility, knowledge in the field of transfusion medicine, intensive care nursing, or anesthesiology
