QUALIFICATIONS

Valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in
Technology/Engineering 512:
SEI Endorsement
Additional content area licensure is encouraged
An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism, and bias, and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to children and adults
Commitment to remain current in content knowledge and teaching strategies
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and in conformity with state certification requirements.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop an understanding of 3D modeling and recognition of an object in 3D space
Understand 3D features that add and remove geometry
Reinforce the understanding of 3D features that add and remove geometry
Understand basic drawing concepts
Create a drawing template
Understand basic concepts of sustainable design
Research use of new and emerging technologies in instruction
Use data to design technologybased instructional strategies
Recommend hardware, software, and related sources
Identify trends in software, curriculum, teaching strategies, and other edcational areas

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

As negotiated with Lynn School Committee and Lynn Teachers Union.
180 days per year
