    The adjunct faculty member in this position will teach a criminal justice course, Police in Society (in person) that focuses on:

    An overview of the agencies that comprise the criminal justice system. The goals of law enforcement, courts, and corrections will be considered from historical, ethical, philosophical, and practical perspectives.

    Particular focus will be given to understanding the search for causes of crime and how it impacts the development of CJ policy, and the process by which these are evaluated.
