Day in the Life:
As a Pipeline Integrity/Metallurgy Engineer, you will be part of a team that fields diverse needs and maintains and develops programs to ensure the integrity of company assets.
This includes being a company resource for our integrity management programs, including providing guidance on inspections and repairs, preparing and delivering training, supporting audits, maintaining metrics and preparing reports to analyze performance and demonstrate compliance.
You will support due diligence and asset acquisition integrations, supporting material evaluations and selections as well as leading failure investigations.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgmentMay supervise the work of othersDemonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projectsPrepares and delivers presentationsAnticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutionsInterprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or servicesCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needsChampions processes, procedures and safety standardsMonitors and controls costs and resources associated with projectsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.)
license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industryPreferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsProficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject areaPreferred: Project Management experience
