    Description

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Serves as part of the on-site Special Event Team and is present for the entirety of all assigned eventsMaintains a positive, pro-active, solution-oriented demeanor when working with guests, vendors or fellow team membersHelps set-up and breakdown all elements of events including but not limited to signage, event supplies, tents, linens, décor, etcAssist with development and implementation of creative tasks required to produce eventsClosely follows day-of event timelines to ensure smooth execution of scheduled activitiesCarefully handles all assigned event materials to ensure nothing is damaged or lost, and all materials are returned and accounted upon completion of dutiesAssist with inventory oversight of event related itemsAbility to learn subject matter related to OWA and speak confidently in public settingsWorks with the Special Events team to fulfill administrative tasks, as assigned, in a timely mannerPerforms all other duties as assigned


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


    Must be 15 years of age or older; prior experience in customer service, guest relations, hospitality, special events, or related experience is a plusPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task while still retaining focus and providing great customer serviceMust be a team player and have the ability to work collaboratively with others; must also have the ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative when requiredBe punctual at all times and demonstrate strong time management skillsAbility to manage through conflict, complexity, and problem-solving issues to resolutionMust be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume work environmentMust be able to lift 20 lbs.

    or more and must be able to stand for long periods of timeMust possess a valid state driver's licenseMust be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in sunny, hot, humid, cold, and rainy conditions
