    Exciting Direct Hire Career Opportunity

    Our Client has an immediate need for a Benefits Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the administration of all benefits and retirement programs and identifying and building processes that streamline onboarding utilizing tools including ADP and other technologies to facilitate these processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Directly responsible for the development of company's overall health management/wellness strategy.
    • Use extensive Benefits experience to develop and present ideas for improvement.
    • Measure and analyze Benefits data to improve effectiveness, build efficiencies and enhance the delivery of the Benefits function.
    • Analyze benefits "best practices" and trends to assure that all benefit programs are competitive and monitor the company's plans to identify areas for improvement.
    • Supervise the Benefits Administrator and help administer the medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, group life, FSA, HSA, and retirement savings plans.
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of a method of communicating relevant benefit information.
    • Mediate between employees and benefit providers to resolve employees' benefits related issues.
    • Facilitate annual wellness program by working with our broker and plan carriers.
    • Develop and prepare communications to employees about benefit programs, procedures and government mandated disclosures.
    • Approve monthly carrier invoices.
    • Conduct annual audit of enrollment data with Payroll.
    • Manage annual benefit enrollment process including open enrollment using HRIS to collect elections.
    • Facilitate on site carrier meetings and work with carriers to receive and transmit enrollment data through use of electronic data sharing.
    • Ensure the integrity of all benefit information that is housed in the HRIS database.
    • Remain current on related laws, regulations, and practices related to administering benefits in a self- funded environment FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA and Health Care Reform.
    • Administer ACA program and manage data, filing and reporting to maintain compliance.
    • Prepare a variety of benefit analysis reports throughout the year.
    • Research and recommend process and technology improvements for Benefits Administration.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
    • MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years of work experience with the last 4 years in a Compensation/Benefits role.
    • Must have experience developing and designing benefit plans.
    • Must have experience working with self-funded plans and the applicable laws and regulations.
    • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification preferred.
    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of all benefit related regulations (ERISA, FMLA, USERRA, COBRA, HIPAA) and health, welfare and retirement benefit programs required.
