**Sales Manager**

Operations Troy, Michigan Minimum Experience **Manager/Supervisor**

**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with several years of experience in telecommunications or related fields to oversee the Sales Team for ManagedWays Cloud Computing, Fiber Optic Internet, and Colocation services. You will be responsible for implementing sales plans, meeting ambitious sales goals, and growing company revenues.

**Responsibilities:**

Leading and performing sales activities (direct to business) for all Cloud Computing, Fiber Optic Internet, and Colocation products and offerings.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting the Sales Team in the acquisition of new customers in addition to the development of existing customer relationships.

Interfacing with engineering staff, project managers, marketing staff, and other team members as needed.

Processing customers' sales and order requests timely and accurately.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for resolving customer account issues.

Assisting with responses to bids, RFQs, RFPs, and other customer requests.

Actively participating in the Sales Teams plans to ensure revenue growth and improve market share.

Collaborating with the Sales Team to meet assigned team quotas for sales, profits, and strategic objectives.

Having brand awareness and enthusiasm for the companys services.

Keeps up to date on technology trends and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

The Sales Manager will determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

The Sales Manager establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

The Sales Manager maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Requirements:**

5+ years of strong sales experience with 3 years of industry experience (Internet Service Provider, Cloud Services Provider, or Colocation Services Provider).

Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to display positive attitudes and behaviors, which demonstrate an awareness and willingness to meet customers needs, requirements, and expectations.

Working knowledge of telecommunications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail.

Great problem solving skills.

Some travel required.

Strong time management skills.

Must have initiative and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
