    Description

    Support Nurse - LPN Full Time

    Company: Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Support Nurse - LPN Full Time at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. Join our team in a supportive and caring environment where your skills will be valued.

    • Assist nursing personnel on a specified unit during assigned work hours
    • Provide resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
    • Delegate duties to non-licensed nursing personnel
    • Assist in Quality Assurance data collection
    • Support infection control for the unit
    • Adhere to regulations regarding cleanliness and infection control
    • Assist with assessment of new admissions and resident assessments
    • Monitor and measure decubiti weekly
    • Report performance issues to the RN
    • Assist with lab requests and emergencies
    • Coordinate the health care team
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Must be a high school graduate
    • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    • Must have a current, valid LPN license in North Carolina
    • Must provide quality nursing care to patients
    • Must be CPR certified yearly
    • Must attend in-service training and staff meetings
    • Must have strong decision-making ability
    • Must adhere to policies and procedures
    • Must be able to handle nursing equipment
