    Veris Manufacturing, a division of Emerald Technologies, is looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join their vibrant team in Brea, CA. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in handling cash transactions, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable activities while supporting the Site Controller in financial reporting.

    What You Will Do as a Staff Accountant:

    • Contribute to the timely closure of month-end and year-end financial statements.
    • Handle monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Oversee accounts receivable invoicing and general ledger postings.
    • Pursue collections for overdue invoices and address any related issues.
    • Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies.
    • Analyze inventory variances and collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.

    Your Qualifications:

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
    • Minimum of two years of accounting experience.
    • Possess manufacturing/inventory experience, either in industry or as an auditor.
    • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Familiarity with accounting modules of M2M or other ERP systems.
