    Now Hiring: Staff Accountant

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant role with a dynamic sports and entertainment company based in Orange County.

    About the Company

    Our client is a well-established sports and entertainment company in Orange County, with a strong presence in the LA area. They are known for their diverse portfolio of businesses within the sports and entertainment sector, including some nationally recognized entities.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
    • Conduct bank statement reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
    • Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes, including the preparation of financial statements
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insights to drive business operations
    • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
    • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
    • Support external audits and prepare audit schedules

    Requirements

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Keen attention to detail and precision

    Compensation

    Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus benefits
