- In tandem with senior leadership:
- Develop conceptual designs
- Equipment selection
- Preparation of HVAC models and calculations
- Preparation of design drawings, specifications, and control sequences of operation
- During project construction carrying out submittal reviews, making construction site visits and observing system start-ups
- Interact closely with company staff and mgmt., clients, and project architect.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, architectural engineering, or related discipline
- Four (4) or more years' experience in mechanical systems design for commercial, educational, industrial, and corporate projects
- NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) experience a plus
- EIT registration required
- Fluency in Revit, Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and various engineering software tools.
