    Description

    Horton, Oberrecht & Kirkpatrick, a civil defense law firm, is seeking a motivated, self-sufficient, experienced civil litigation Paralegal with at least five years of civil litigation experience for its Orange County office located in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who requires little supervision, has thorough knowledge of the reviewing and summarizing medical records, issuing subpoenas for records, and assisting with trial preparation. Hybrid schedule available.

    Skills/Qualifications required:

    5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience preferred

    Experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and document production

    Experience in preparing comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis

    Computer skills and typing 60+ wpm

    Strong skills editing and finalizing written documents

    Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work product

    Ability to keep up in a fast-paced work environment

    Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved institution
