    Description

    A reputable California-based law firm with over 80 attorneys is seeking a Paralegal for their Irvine office. Supporting the trial department with all phases of discovery, filings, trials and appeals, this position will gain hands-on experience with litigation from beginning to end.

    Job Duties:

    • Assist litigation and trial attorneys with research, preparation of documents, and all phases of litigation including trials and appeals.
    • Prepare subpoenas (in-state, out-of-state, and out-of-country).
    • Utilize e-discovery platforms including CS Disco to conduct discovery searches.
    • Prepare basic motions.
    • Prepare for trials and appeals (state and federal).

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of California and Federal litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Proficiency with Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, CS Disco, Everlaw, Lexis, Westlaw, and iManage.
    • Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program and a Bachelor's degree.

    This is a hybrid position that will allow 1-2 remote days after the initial onboarding period. The compensation range for this position is $95,000-$115,000. The firm also offers medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending span, transportation reimbursement account, group life insurance, long-term disability insurance, profit-sharing/401(k), and 16 vacation and sick days to start.
