- The Senior Application Developer, Full Stack role will be responsible for the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based or internet-related computer programs. They will use their technical expertise in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a foundational understanding of programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications
- Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages
- Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software
- Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team's skills and expertise are current
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in application development or application engineering
- 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Advanced Java programming using J2EE technologies using Spring framework technologies like Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring JPA etc.
- Unix Shell scripting, React JS, HTML, Bootstrap CSS for frontend programming.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud deployment is a plus.
