Good News Clinics is a historic organization that has been providing free medical care, dental care, and specialty referrals to uninsured Hall County residents in Gainesville, GA for over 30 years. Our mission is made possible thanks to the support of community volunteers, volunteer doctors and dentists, clinical assistants, and contributors. We believe in making a positive impact on the lives of those who cannot afford healthcare.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Development. The Director of Development will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the development department. This includes planning and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, creating and executing annual giving campaigns, and budgeting. The Director of Development will also be responsible for philanthropy and developing and implementing planned giving programs.

Qualifications

Experience in planned giving, annual giving, and philanthropy
Strong budgeting and fundraising skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders
Knowledge of donor management systems
Experience in a non-profit organization
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
