The 501 (c) (3) nonprofit Community Flicks offers
VOLUNTEER to paid positions in partnership with FreshView Productions as part of the production of a new
Faith-based Feature Film, now in development.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

The PR Assistant must be articulate, a confident and personable communicator, and comfortable making phone calls to various establishments using a script for guidance.

They must also be self-starters, reliable, knowledgeable about the Internet, and efficient at research. The assistant must be willing to represent the integrity of the organization.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Public Relations (PR)

Assistant:

The PR Assistant will assist the PR Director and film producer in creating 'buzz' about the
faith-based feature film Stroke of Genius, which is now in development.

JOB OVERVIEW:


DUTIES:

• Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns
• Assist with community outreach, partnership development, and media campaigns
• Assist with introductions to designated media sources, setting appointments, and managing

online media and social media publicity.

• Assist with creating press packs,
• Outreach and communication with film industry contacts.
• Conduct research on media outlets, e.g., Christian radio talk shows, podcasts, and influencers
• Manage social media platforms and engage with followers
• Assist with proofreading and editing PR materials

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of social media management
• Comfortable with phone introductions with various organizations

DAY(s)

AND HOURS:
Thursdays 12:30 - 5:30 (on site)
