Part-time positions as Dresser (m/f/d) at the Theaters of the City of Cologne in Chula Vista, TX


The Theaters of the City of Cologne are looking to fill several part-time positions as Dressers (m/f/d) for the Opera, Children's Opera, and Drama departments on a temporary basis.


With over 800 employees, the Theaters of the City of Cologne are one of the largest multi-disciplinary theaters in the German-speaking world.

Under the umbrella of the Bühnen Köln, opera, children's opera, drama, and dance productions are created for the citizens of Cologne and the surrounding European region.

This includes the artistic development of productions, the creation of stage decorations, costumes, props, as well as providing necessary building and administrative infrastructure, and visitor services and theater outreach.

Every year, over 250,000 spectators attend more than 720 events. The artistic results are discussed in national and international media. The annual revenue for the theater operations is approximately 70 million euros.

The independent institution, Bühnen der Stadt Köln, is responsible for the general renovation of the theater ensemble at Offenbachplatz. Due to the renovation, the departments are currently performing in various interim venues. The Cologne Opera uses the Staatenhaus located on the banks of the Rhine in Deutz. The Drama department is located at the Carlswerk site in Cologne-Mülheim. In addition, there are various administrative and production locations.
