    Description

    Business Development Director

    • Location: Miami-Dade and Broward, Florida

    The Business Development Director position at FirstService Residential requires a highly motivated individual who will spearhead strategic sales initiatives. This role involves actively engaging in sales activities in the marketplace and collaborating with Market Leaders, operational Executives, and the Marketing Department to generate leads, conduct sales activities, and create proposals. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional planning, communication, and business development skills to effectively work with internal senior associates, close sales, and meet targets.


    Your Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement new client development continuously
    • Execute sales strategy to secure residential association management contracts aligned with FirstService Residential's client-type strategy
    • Contribute to the growth of current market territories by attending and organizing business development meetings as needed
    • Participate in the sales process, including delivering sales presentations to potential clients
    • Explore innovative methods to convey our value to prospects and existing clients
    • Stay updated on the competition and industry trends, reporting findings to the senior leadership team
    • Manage the sales process using CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), update lead/opportunity information, and handle communication
    • Collaborate with the marketing team and assist in preparing proposal responses (RFP)
    • Identify growth opportunities within existing managed communities and oversee the internal sales process
    • Proficient in giving client presentations and closing deals effectively
    • Coordinate sale presentations, including internal preparation of materials and post-meeting communication

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years sales experience in a service-related industry
    • Experience with CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
    • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
    • Ability to build rapport with various personality types during and after the sales process
    • Capable of effectively working with different styles and demands in the sales process
    • Attend internal and external business development meetings and events
    • Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities
    • Exhibit sound judgment, common sense, and high ethical standards
