We currently have an opening for a full-time
_Legal Support Clerk _in our
_ Los Angeles office._
The hours for this position are
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Performs administrative duties such as preparing check requests and travel reimbursements
Assists with the billing process using accounting software
Performs conflict checks, opens new client matters, and sends out engagement letters
Ensures that all documents have been proofread, edited and revised as necessary
Electronically files documents into the firm's document management system
Updates and maintains business development contacts
Develops and maintains smooth working relationships with staff, attorneys and clients
Assists with opening and closing of new files

Experience and Qualifications:

Prior office experience is preferred, but not required
Excellent proofing and editing
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on experience.
