    Job Title: Staff Accountant

    Location: Phoenix, AZ

    Salary Range: $30-$33 per hour

    Job Type: Contract to hire

    Schedule: Monday-Friday (In-office)

    Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a degree in accounting? Do you possess advanced Excel skills and thrive in a dynamic work environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients team as a Staff Accountant in Phoenix, AZ.

    Responsibilities:

    Expense Prepaid Items: Manage and reconcile prepaid expenses, ensuring accurate and timely recording in the financial statements.

    Prepare/Complete Expense Books: Handle the preparation and completion of expense books, maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.

    Reconcile/Adjust Depreciation: Conduct depreciation reconciliations and adjustments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

    Sales Tax Reconciliation: Responsible for reconciling and reporting sales tax, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations.

    Code/Post Management Billings: Effectively code and post management billings, supporting the billing process and maintaining accurate financial records.

    Forecast Spreadsheets: Collaborate with the team to develop and update forecasting spreadsheets, providing valuable insights into financial performance.

    WIP Adjustment: Perform work-in-progress (WIP) adjustments, ensuring accurate reflection of project costs and revenues.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

    Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
