    As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic Welder /Fabricator to join our successful Novi team immediately.

    We are looking for a talented individual with solid professional skills in manufacturing.


    What you will be doing:

    Welding Aluminum Metal Read, understand, and follow work instructions, specifications, engineering drawings, and other job documentation Assemble and/or weld a variety of thin wall stainless steel, mild steel, or aluminum components Work with fixtures/table layouts to assist in the assembly or welding of multi-component partsOperate hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs' needsInspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specificationsInspection and reporting of goods and products as required by the inspection planReport product quality concerns and defective equipment to supervisorsMaintain proper tagging & labeling of goods and productsWillingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned positionInspect and maintain equipment or notify supervisor or maintenance department of equipment issuesPerform housekeeping tasks as requiredPerform all functions in a safe and productive mannerKeep equipment and work area in a clean and organized conditionPerform modifications and repair work to customer supplied systemsOther duties as specified by your ManagerWhat you bring along: Reading and knowledge of common welding symbolsPrior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environmentKnowledgeable with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG & TIG welding, Proficient with metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metalsMinimum 2-4 years manufacturing experienceMinimum 2-4 years of weld / fabrication experienceVocational or college level welding program completion requiredStrong analytical skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsRelevant technological knowledgeOther details:Our team includes members with a wide diversity of cultural and technical backgrounds, ages, and experiences.
