- Weld and fabricate fixture frames from blueprints.
- Cut material required for welding.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
- Follow all company safety guidelines.
- Comfortable using grinding equipment and band saws.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
- Build secondary assembly fixture frames.
- Assist fixture builders by welding required brackets and mounts on fixtures.
- Manages related projects and time needed to perform the task.
- Use of hands – to handle and feel parts for surface qualities
- Communication – frequently required to exchange information, regularly required to speak and/or hear. effective and clear direction to subordinates as required.
- Lifting – lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Vision abilities – close, distant, color and ability to adjust focus.
