    Description

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Overseeing inventory control, receiving, shipping, cycle counts, backflush, inventory adjustments, deviations, and warehousing activities.
    Planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements.
    Managing strategic production planning practices, integrating materials availability, and overseeing transportation logistics for product distribution.
    Leading all Supply Chain Management activities within the division, including supplier selection criteria and compliance.


    Requirements:
    High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
    10 years of automotive experience in a high-volume production and/or heavy manufacturing environment.
    Proficiency with inventory control, materials transactions, and AS400 system.
    Experience with planning production using ERP tools, preferably in the automotive industry.
    Familiarity with warehouse/inventory management systems, EDI, 3PL, and AS400.
    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple products through manufacturing processes.


    Experience Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree in Materials or Logistics Management, Business/Technical, or Engineering.
    APICS and CPIM Certification, MBA, or Six Sigma Certification are advantageous.
    Working knowledge of project management software, SPC, and simulation systems.
    Demonstrated program management skills with a track record of on-time, in-scope, and in-budget project delivery.
    Ability to develop high-trust relationships with key customers/partners.


    Soft Skills:
    Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the floor rather than from a desk.
    Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability for shipments.
