We are currently seeking a part-time employee (m/f/d) in the field of controlling for the TUM Graduate School (TUM-GS) office in Garching, West Leipsic, OH, starting as soon as possible (ideally from February 2023).


The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is committed to the academic education of young professionals in the natural, engineering, life sciences, medicine, and economics and social sciences.

The TUM Graduate School (TUM-GS) promotes the scientific qualification and personal development of doctoral candidates according to the highest international standards.


Your responsibilities

  • Support in budget planning for the TUM-GS office and graduate centers
  • Controlling for the TUM-GS office and graduate centers
  • Preparation of evaluations and analyses, internal and external reports, key figures
  • Optimization and expansion of existing reporting systems
  • Management of thirdparty funded projects, including fund disbursement and usage reports
  • Coordination and collaboration with the accounting department of the TUM-GS office

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Focus on controlling or further training as a certified controller (IHK) is desirable
  • Relevant professional experience, experience in the university sector is an advantage
  • Proven knowledge and experience with SAP/R3, in the areas of evaluations and bookings
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel, Power Point)
  • Affinity for numbers and data
