The State Office for Immigration is currently seeking permanent staff (m/f/d) for the E - Immigration department in Monticello, MN for the position of Principal Clerk for residence law matters (m/f/d)Salary/compensation group:

Full-time with 40.00/39.4 hours per week (part-time employment possible).

- Processing and decisionmaking on applications in residence law matters in particularly difficult or conflictladen cases.
- Deciding on the granting of objections and applications.
- Initial processing of difficult procedural matters.
- Contact person for departmental staff and team leaders.

Civil servants:
- Fulfillment of the career requirements for the career group 2, first entry level of the nontechnical service of the general administration.
- Existing employment relationship in the public service (federal, state, municipalities).
Collective bargaining employees preferably:
- A completed (specialized) university degree (bachelor's or diploma) in the field of public law, public administration, public management, administrative sciences or law, or
