The 9,500-square-foot space features 14 treatment rooms and spa services inspired by its natural surroundings of the Pacific Ocean and the indigenous plant life of the treasured Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve.

SUMMARY

The
Spa Locker Attendant ("Encargado/a de Casilleros") provides the highest levels of professionalism and gracious service to our guests at the Spa, pool, and facilities while ensuring supplies, products and refreshments are always available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Welcomes our guests with a warm, friendly smile and provides them with impeccable service at the swimming pool and facilities.
  • Ensures the facilities are orderly and wellmaintained, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation for the spa and fitness center.
  • Ensures refreshments are always available at the fitness center and the ladies and gentlemen lounge.
  • Provides our guests with locker assistance, fresh towels, and supplies.
  • Promotes the use of property activity equipment available to our guests, assisting them with instructions and rules on all outdoor games.
  • Coordinates the delivery and pickup of food and beverage deliveries at the pool, and clean and soil towels with the Housekeeping Department.
  • Follows all safety and emergency procedures and discourages unsafe behaviors throughout the outdoor areas.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 312 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
  • Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, teamoriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section and San Diego Municipal Code et. seq.
