    in San Diego, CA who possesses:
    Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
    Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz
    RFhardware development experience.
    Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
    Good working knowledge of
    RFboard layout, fabrication, and packaging.
    Strong familiarity with using
    RFsimulation tools (i.e. AWR Microwave Office, Altium).

    FULL DESCRIPTION:
    Our client is seeking a full-time


    RFDesign Engineer

    reporting to the

    Director of
    RFEngineering

    on the
    RFEngineering team.

    The successful individual in this role will actively participate in all aspects of the design process to develop the
    RFsubsystem.

    This position is 100% onsite Monday through Friday.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:
    Antenna to baseband
    RFsubsystem design using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
    Discrete design includes PLL, LNA, Mixers, PA etc.
    Implementing or supervising schematic capture and PCB layout.

    RFperformance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting.
    Overall system design to ensure good EMI performance.
    Ensure circuit board design and overall radio product can pass relevant emission and immunity regulations.
    Troubleshoot RF-related production yield problems.
    Improve design for manufacturability.

    The selected candidate will also possess:
    Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
    Excellent bench skills.
    Proactive approach to problem-solving.
    Detail-oriented and a firm commitment to quality.
    Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
    Problem-solving, data analysis, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.


    Salary Range:
    $100k-$150k/yr
