- Provide medically necessary clinical services, including but not limited to assessment, individual, family & group therapy & crisis intervention services to a targeted population of a targeted population. Services may be provided in the clinic, in the patient's home, or other community settings.
- Responsible for case management services for assigned caseload. These services include referrals, advocacy, interagency staffings, and coordinating care between agencies/service providers as appropriate. Employee will work in coordination with York County Mental Health Court to assist with assessing for program eligibility, attend staffing meetings with the Mental Health Court team, provide status updates, and testify in court.
- Formulate recovery-based plans of care with person centered goals and objectives. Conduct timely reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Attend and participate in Treatment Team meetings/staffings, including staffing with MD at CCMHC Pursue continuing education and training. Maintain positive professional relationships with MHC staff, and community agencies, as well as clients and their families. Work to overcome the stigma of mental illness and mental health services by providing education, training, and support services to the community at large.

Job Responsibilities

This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Catawba Community Mental Health Center (CCMHC), York Adult Clinic, 205 Piedmont Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29732
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor, employee will provide therapeutic and emergency services to targeted population of patients and their families within the Catawba Community Mental Health Center catchment area and will work in coordination with the York County Mental Health Court. Will also ensure frequent interaction with other community agencies and maintain positive professional relationships.

This position MAY be eligible for SCDMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences two years (MHCIII) of experience in a clinical counseling program preferred.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
