As a Sanitation Technician you will:


  • Cover of all electrical boxes and equipment before beginning the clean
  • Safely and properly disassemble production equipment
  • Rinse equipment of all remaining raw material and product residue
  • Properly foam, soap, and scrub the equipment
  • Sanitize the equipment using appropriate sanitation methods
  • Reassemble the equipment back to its original state
  • Check and remove moisture if present in the pipes and ceiling
  • Meet USDA and company standards, using identified chemicals, foam machines, brushes, water hoses etc.
  • Using 5'S organize the area
  • Sanitize the floor using proper chemicals, products and squeegee the excess water into the waste drains
  • Understand the impact of the Sanitation Teams work on micro counts and product cleanliness
  • Check equipment after finishing the sanitation cycle to verify swabs are acceptable

Requirements:


  • Previous Sanitation experience preferred, but not required willing to train the right individual
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions
  • Ability to determine the root cause of issues that arise
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • The position requires standing, walking, bending, crouching and climbing up steps, and working in a hot/wet environment
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Good handeye coordination
  • Ability to manage time well and complete given tasks within the given time frame
