- Experience in the design of roadways, runways and drainage for NMDOT (or other DOT clients) with the ability to assist in analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements
- Perform geometric engineering design from preliminary to final design
- Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Department, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope
- B.S. in Civil Engineering is required
- EIT is required, PE eligible
- 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering with an emphasis on roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients, NMDOT experience is a plus
- Experience with design software. Experience in Microstation and OpenRoads designer is a plus
- Candidate will work a hybrid schedule.
