This position in Bernville, PA is focused on negotiating and selecting suppliers, conducting price and capacity negotiations in collaboration with Key Account Managers worldwide.

The role also involves leading and developing the Sourcing department, contributing to the long-term foundry strategy, ensuring alignment with the central procurement team, and driving continuous improvement in processes and tools.


In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to defining and implementing the longterm foundry strategy
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members in daily sourcing activities, including negotiation strategies
  • Ensure alignment with the central procurement team and compliance with processes and methods
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools to increase efficiency and speed
  • Lead negotiations and selection of foundries to support the foundry roadmap, including price and capacity negotiations with global Key Account Managers, contract amendments and extensions
  • Monitor and report on savings and purchasing volume projections for foundries, and secure short and longterm capacity
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, material science, or a related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Basic knowledge of the semiconductor industry
  • A strategic and analytical mindset and skillset
  • A strong network, preferably including Asian foundries
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of management
  • Experience working in international teams
  • Fluent English proficiency
This position is located at the world's first high-volume production site for power semiconductors on 300 mm
