    Description

    In this crucial role, the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement process, while maintaining a steady supply of goods and optimizing costs.

    In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and issuing purchase orders.


    Procurement:
    Create and issue purchase orders for goods and services needed by the company.
    Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
    Address any issues or concerns with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, or delivery.
    Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
    Ensure all purchasing and shipping activities comply with company policies and procedures.
    Maintain accurate documentation and records related to purchases and shipments.
    Stay updated on import/export regulations and trade compliance requirements.


    • 5 years' experience in purchasing/materials/supply chain management.
    ~ Bachelor's Degree – Procurement, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required).
    ~ Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, and shipping roles.
    ~ Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques.
    ~ Familiarity with shipping logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and EEI filing.
    ~ Proficiency in using ERP systems or other procurement software.
    ~ Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance is a plus.

    Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
