- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investment consultants, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, requests, and relationship management.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and the sales team to deliver tailored solutions and insights to consultants.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on consultant databases and platforms to identify potential opportunities for engagement and distribution.
- Prepare compelling presentations, marketing materials, and reports to effectively communicate the firm's investment strategies, performance, and capabilities to consultants.
- Coordinate and support consultant due diligence meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting consultants and the broader investment landscape.
- Track and analyze consultant relationships, activities, and outcomes to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the asset management and/or investment consulting industry.
- Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in consultant relations from the Midwest to the East Coast (geographic focus)
