- Report to and support the Global Line Cyber CUO (based in Paris) for strategy, planning, guidelines review, renewal coordination, KPI monitoring, portfolio management & reporting
- Work in the US Treaty team to contribute to the development of SCOR's US operations
- Coordinate and drive the underwriting activities related to his/her assigned area; manages client relationship and line of business portfolio in teamwork with the Cyber community based in Paris London, US, Germany, Singapore and China. The scope of is worldwide, with a focus on Americas (US, LatAm and Canada).
- Underwrite and steer Cyber portfolio, support/coordinate underwriting for US standalone and bundled cyber treaties
- Regularly engage with the cyber treaty pricing, reserving and claims teams, keeping them appraised of the latest developments of the (re-)insurance marketplace
- Identify and analyse existing and potential target clients, their strategy, finance and needs
- Structure clients' engagement plan, audits and cedant servicing in coordination with Client Managers
- Visit and meet with clients and brokers frequently (with GL and/or P&C responsible or alone) to establish SCOR's position, carry SCOR's vision and mission to the marketplace, collect and analyse all the information needed for a proper underwriting process (documentation in Salesforce)
- Proactively monitor marketplace/market developments and explores trends / cycles and new potentials
- Represent SCOR in working groups, conferences, presentations, articles and associations
- Coordinate with Cyber CAT team modelled and allocated PML capacities
- Be accountable for an efficient administration of his/her assigned portfolio as well as for planning/putting into action pre-underwriting and underwriting operations.
- Comply with all Enterprise Risk Management rules, including Interal Control System for treaty underwriting and escalation to Cyber CUO when appropriate and necessary
- 5 to 10 years' experience in cyber underwriting (insurance or reinsurance)
- Actuarial experience is a plus.
- College or similar education or equivalent work experience
- Insurance/ Reinsurance qualifications for Cyber desirable
- Additional language skills (Spanish) are desirable (optional)

We are now setting up a dedicated underwriting department around the Global line Cyber CUO to better manage and develop this portfolio (underwriting, controlling, developing, planning and steering).
We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated, experienced Cyber insurance or reinsurance underwriter with a strong work ethic that will be responsible for working with the CUO Global Lines Cyber on elaborating and executing the Reinsurance Global Lines Cyber strategy.
Our ambition and responsibility go beyond underwriting: the candidate must be a team player willing to contribute to a long-term project. He/she will need effective communication and project management skills to embark and work with all the external and internal stakeholders (Clients, Brokers, P&C Treaty teams, Claims, Actuarial, Legal, Underwriting Management, Group Risk Management and Senior Management).

Responsibilities
"In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $190,000 - $250,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement saving plan, paid holidays and paid time
