- Develop and implement a strategic plan to meet assigned specification and sales targets in the district.
- Conduct 12-15 face-to-face sales meetings per week within the designated district.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with DMF Lighting's representative partners, channel associates, and commercial influencers.
- Coordinate and support the delivery of product training, promotions, and business systems training to representative partners and commercial influencers.
- Maintain and expand a portfolio of design team influencer accounts; collaborate with local representative partners on managing these accounts.
- Engage with designated end-user and developer accounts to stimulate interest in DMF products and secure national account agreements.
- Participate in annual planning to set sales targets and representative quotas for the assigned territory.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- 5+ years of experience in consultative lighting sales to specifiers.
- Thorough knowledge of lighting practices and a track record of selling to the Lighting Design Community.
- Proficiency in tailoring sales presentations to suit different audiences and time constraints.
- Comfortable speaking in public, demonstrating strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Job Description
DMF Lighting is seeking a dynamic outside salesperson to oversee the Commercial & Industrial business in the Southern California sales region, which includes Ventura County, greater Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire territories. To excel in this role, you must establish strong relationships with manufacturers' representative agents and key commercial influencers such as architects, lighting designers, electrical engineers, commercial contractors, developers, and homebuilders. Previous experience in managing a network of manufacturers' representative agents and direct channel partner accounts is essential.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
The salary range for this position is between $120,000 to $175,000 annually, with the opportunity for bonuses of up to 25-30% of the base pay.
