- Configure, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking systems.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal system functionality and reliability.
- Perform regular maintenance, including software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to IT staff and end-users.
- Ensure quick response and resolution of network-related incidents.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and VPNs.
- Ensure the network complies with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, network maps, and procedures.
- Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
- Assist in network-related projects, from planning through execution and completion.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for hardware and software procurement.
- Support project timelines, budgets, and resource management.
- This position may also require collaborating with other government branches or agencies.
- At least three years of network administration
- Proficiency with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
- Experience with network security practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE).
- Experience working in a government or judicial environment.
- Familiarity with court-specific software and systems.

Job DescriptionThe Nevada Supreme Court is seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator to manage and maintain our network infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and security of the Court's IT systems, supporting both judicial and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
This position can be in Carson City or Las Vegas.
After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

Effectively works remotely and collaborates with employees from a remote location, as needed. Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams.
