- Support all general ledger tasks including monthly close and journal entries for multiple legal entities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for multiple legal entities of sub ledgers/calculated schedules against general ledger and assess for reasonableness of ending balances
- Lead revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations and analysis
- Assist with preparation of financial statements
- Perform variance analyses for financial statements and explain fluctuations from month to month, year over year, and against plan
- Prepare intercompany reconciliations
- Identify possible efficiencies in existing processes and propose solutions
- Participation in implementing process improvements
- Support various Accounting projects
- Assist with Accounting onboarding of new acquisitions
- Assist with training junior staff
- Supervise two direct reports
- Ability to analyze and validate financial statements
- Other duties as assigned
- 5-7 years of accounting experience. Public accounting experience or corporate accounting experience in a large company strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Experience with managing month end close process
- Managing journal entry process
- Experience with Balance sheet and Profit Loss analysis
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Knowledge of and proficiency in an ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate with all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with all levels
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform highly detailed work under tight deadlines and handle competing priorities
- Demonstrated history of problem solving
- Superb ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting and system issues
