We are currently seeking a Chemist (m/f/d) for our production site in Willstätt, Germany to join our Quality Control team on a two-shift schedule.

As a traditional employer and a "hidden champion" in the region, our end consumers may not directly interact with our printing plates, but every print on packaging such as milk cartons or beverage cans can only be achieved with our plates.

This role offers a diverse and dynamic range of tasks and opportunities for growth, including:

  • Quality control of raw materials, films, intermediate and final products
  • Verification and input of all analysis data into the computer system
  • Release and blocking of raw materials and intermediate products via SAP
  • Special tests and evaluations outside of the standard testing plan
  • Support in production and raw material issues
  • Assistance in the qualification of new production materials or secondary suppliers
  • Specialist for maintenance/repair of laboratory equipment
  • Updating safety, work, and procedure instructions
  • Adherence to all instructions regarding safety and environmental protection
To be a good fit for our team, you should have:

  • Completed training as a chemical technician or a comparable technical education
  • Knowledge of analytical work (especially gas chromatography and UV/VIS spectrometry)
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • High level of flexibility
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
