- Develop an in-depth process technology and continuous improvement skill set helping to establish credibility with the operations team.
- Drive knowledge exchange with technology experts to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities for the technology.
- Partner with the experts to develop and implement a Plant Specific Technology Plan (PSTP) that delivers positive year-over-year ROC (return on capital) and non-capital continuous improvement while meeting the plant level EH&S improvement goals.
- Champion process safety activities and acts as a resource for relevant process safety concerns. Partner with plant operation and maintenance personnel to identify and track performance indicators to be used in identification of technology gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support the facility root cause investigation process by serving as a team member or facilitator for incidents related to process technology. Lead and supports plant continuous improvement activities aligned to the PSTP and also supports the capital plan for the facility. Lead continuous improvement activities for the facility and may serve in specific Global Project Methodology (GPM) related roles of project manager or manufacturing representative.
- Serve as the implementation arm of the technology center.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant military experience at or above a US E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking.
- A minimum of 2 years manufacturing or relevant experience is required.
