What you will do:


As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Central team in Brooksburg, you will be responsible for planning and leading projects to procure, develop, and install machines and tooling for series production. This includes ensuring that all quality, financial, technical, and timing requirements are met. You will also provide manufacturing engineering expertise to support product innovation processes for new product designs, as well as develop new equipment and optimize current machinery. This position will be based at our EMEA headquarters in Hannover, Germany.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Take full responsibility for assigned series production processes, machinery, and tooling
  • Create specifications (SOW) for manufacturing equipment
  • Lead projects for new or updated machinery and tooling, including making decisions on whether to make or buy and managing suppliers from design to series production
  • Coordinate on-site installation, commissioning, and acceptance of machinery with operations and suppliers
  • Document all machinery, including necessary documentation for CE declaration and administrative documents like CAD and electrical schematics
  • Develop assigned processes, machinery, and tooling for new products, improved quality and performance, and maintenance purposes
  • Support operations with existing machinery in assigned processes
  • Establish global standards for assigned processes, machinery, and tooling in collaboration
