AIQ is growing rapidly and is seeking a qualified individual to lead the company into its next phase of growth while maintaining extraordinary client satisfaction and the exceptional culture of the company. The Manager, Business Development will work directly with constituencies including:
· Clients, Prospects (typically CFO, CEO) and Private Equity Sponsors

Manager, Business Development
Position Details:
Title: Manager, Business Development
Start Date (Full time): November 1, 2023
Background:
Proven success in these key experiential areas would demonstrate an optimal fit:
· Proven ability in Solution selling to sell strategic services to Fortune 1000 enterprises
· Working in a small / mid-market business environment (especially in high growth / transitional phases)
· Rolling out business/pricing models
· Superb written, presentation, and verbal communications skills
· Relationships with private equity firms and understanding of the key value drivers for PE-backed companies
· Understanding of Finance, Accounting and Technology business functions and the interactions of such
· Data driven consulting in a trusted advisor role
· Working successfully within technology-enabled businesses (be able to "talk the talk")
· Growing margins and profitability via consultative sales (e.g., not transactional or price-driven sales)
Compensation:
· OTE:
o 2023: ~$250k
o 2024: ~$350-400k
· Base Salary: $100k
· Incentive Compensation:
o Individual Commission: 1.5% of Revenue on deals generated from Assigned Prospects
o Bonus: $5k per deal, beginning with 3rd deal (minimum $100k deal value)
Quotas:
· 2023 Individual Quota: $5mm (5 deals at average of $1mm)
· Expected 2024 Individual Quota: $10-12mm deals at average of $1mm)
Assigned Prospects:
Direct Sales (non-PE/VC sponsor backed companies)
· Public companies
· Private companies (~$200MM-$2B in revenue is sweet spot)
o These will come from a combination of:
§ Current AIQ CRM contact list (past clients, etc.)
§ Other prospect lists created by AIQ
§ Independently sourced prospect lists
Responsibilities:
· Creating and defining sales strategy and tactical plan
· Expanding and diversifying client base, primarily organically, which includes both individual selling and managing a target sales team
· Creating and maintaining sales metrics reporting
· Assist with refining sales and marketing materials
· Materially increase client savings and resulting revenue on an ongoing basis (i.e., 20-30% growth environment)

Remote working environment - This role is primarily a remote position with minimal travel required based on client needs. The candidate will be provided with company equipment but must have their own private office and a good internet connection. Candidates in Utah and surrounding areas are preferred but not required.
Salaried position with the expectation to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
The company's primary business is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. mountain time zone. However, employees may be required to accommodate adjusted work hours due to specific circumstances to meet project deadlines and will be communicated in advance.
