- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and develop targeted intervention plans.
- Offer direct support through counseling, crisis intervention, mentorship, and advocacy, addressing mental health, social skills, and family dynamics.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external partners to implement strategies that meet individual student needs and promote a positive educational environment.
- Participate in and lead multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development and adjustment of student intervention strategies.
- Develop and lead workshops and group programs for students, staff, and parents on topics relevant to student well-being.
- Ensure detailed documentation of student interactions, interventions, and outcomes, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a full Michigan license to practice in a school setting.
- Demonstrated experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams (METs).
- Proven track record working with students across a variety of age groups and educational settings.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with diverse populations.
