Veolia Environmental Services East GmbH is part of the Veolia Group and is present at over 30 service and operating locations in the federal states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, and eastern Lower Saxony.

It offers various services to municipalities, industries, businesses, and private customers, including collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling, as well as material processing and marketing.

We are currently seeking a

Manager of Waste Management Facilities in East Brandenburg (m/f/d)

for our locations in Frankfurt/Oder and Alt Golm.

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing and leading our waste management facilities in Frankfurt/Oder and Alt Golm, which include a large sorting plant, a fleet of around 20 trucks (for municipal and commercial collection), 2 yards with various fractions, and maintenance and 2 composting plants.

The two locations employ a total of 80 employees and work together across departments.

Your specific tasks will include:

Overseeing the financial results of both facilities
Ensuring efficient and effective processes and managing the necessary personnel (planning, procurement, and deployment) in collaboration with the respective department heads. You will also be responsible for the economic planning, deployment, and maintenance of technology in all parts of the facilities.
Leading and developing the department heads (sorting plant, fleet, yards/composting plant) as well as the administrative staff. Together with the department heads, you will implement the
