What you will do
- Participate in technical work in the backend lab of our Photonic Components department. This lab is responsible for singulating wafers developed at HHI into bars and chips. Optical coatings are applied through sputtering to prepare these devices for use in optical transmission systems.
- Work on the singulation of wafers into bars and chips
- Develop new ideas, concepts, and process improvements
What you bring to the table
- Completed vocational training in microtechnology or a related field
- Motivation to work with highly complex modern machinery
- Fine motor skills for working with small devices
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
