    Buyer / Purchasing Agent in Lebanon, TN at Vaco **Location:**

    Here's what we're looking for

    Manage parts orders to ensure a 99+% service level for production parts and a 95% service level for service parts. Will be held accountable for maintaining supplier delivery performance to meet these metrics.

    Manage domestic and international suppliers

    Set up and maintain parts and ordering parameters in an ERP system and be able to interpret Bills-of-Materials to ensure parameters are correct.

    Coordinate activities with department managers to ensure customer satisfaction and effectively communicate all concerns for over/under planned inventory levels with area management teams.

    **Requirements**

    The candidate will have a thorough knowledge of all purchasing techniques and related skills. With a proven track record in a manufacturing company.

    The candidate will collaborate with other buyers/planners, forecasting, logistics, and production management in a team environment.

    Heavy purchasing and forecasting. Production/assembly environment.

    Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
