- Perform experiments related to qPCR, gene manipulation, genome and microbiome analysis, and high throughput library screens
- Follow lab protocols, standards, and relevant guidelines
- Manage laboratory inventory, instrumentation, and documentation
- Summarize data, help draft reports and manuscripts, and present at meetings
- Participate in training of research assistant and graduate students
- Other duties as assigned
- B.A. or B.S. or M.S. or equivalent degree.

- One-year relevant experience-preference given to candidates with a Master's degree or nearing completion of their doctoral degree.

Hands-on experience with qPCR, gene manipulation, genome and microbiome analysis, and high throughput library screens preferred. The ability to multitask, work collaboratively, manage data, draft reports, and communicate well are plus.
