    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • The Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroimaging will provide postdoctoral training in clinical and affective neuroscience and neuroimaging within the Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment (DAC). Located within the Department of Psychiatry in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, DAC conducts clinical and translational research across the mood and anxiety disorder spectrum. Fellows will develop expertise in applying cognitive and affective neuroscience and/or neuroimaging methods to problems in neuropsychiatric research. The fellow will analyze and interpret multi-modal MRI and behavioral data from research projects. The fellow will design research experiments, acquire neuroimaging data, run analyses and write scientific reports based on the findings of neuroimaging and clinical neuroscience experimental for publication.

    Requirements:

    • A Ph.
    D.

    in experimental psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, or a related field is a prerequisite in most cases; candidates with an M.D.

    (without a Ph.
    D.) may be considered if the individual has otherwise had substantial prior relevant research experience. Candidates with dual training having obtained an M.D./Ph.
    D. are encouraged to apply.

    The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

    The salary range for the role is $ $60788 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.

    The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
