    **Description**

    Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our University Woods (West Side of Madison) senior living community team as a **Food Server.** TAs a food server, you are responsible for the pleasant meal service to residents and visitors and for cleanup/sanitation of kitchen equipment and general kitchen area.

    ***WE CAN TRAIN YOU***

    Flexible Scheduling: Part-time and Full-time, days/nights till 7PM and weekends.

    Great pay starting at plus an additional $0.75 for hours worked after 3PM and weekends.

    ***Job Responsibilities:*** (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)

    Responsible for prompt and courteous service to all guests.

    Serving dinner to residents, staff, and visitors according to menu.

    Responsible for checking assignment board for posting of evening table assignments.

    Working in dish room as assigned and proper storage of clean dishes.

    Responsible for pre-meal preparation of folding napkins and presetting of tables.

    Bussing tables as assigned for proper cleanup of dirty dishes.

    Proper reset of dining room for next day service.

    Restock of condiments on tables.

    Maintaining clean and sanitized areas: Work stations, resident dining room, and dish and pots/pans areas.

    Proper labeling and storage of food in workstation areas.

    Responsible for assigned cleaning duties, when guests have left the dining room.

    Responsible for communicating with Dining Room Coordinator for any cleanup or setup of any catering needs.

    Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.

    Ability to plan, organizes, and prioritize work load.

    Ability to communicate effectively with the residents.
